Anbirkiniyal is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language survival film directed by Gokul and co-produced by Arun Pandian. A remake of the Malayalam film Helen (2019), it stars Arun's daughter Keerthi as a woman who accidentally gets locked in a freezer room.While waiting for her application to Canada for a nursing job to finalise, Anbirkiniyala works at a fast food joint in the mall to take care of her educational expenses and to ease the burdens of her widower father. The two have a loving relationship but when the father finds out that Anbirkiniyala is having an affair with Charles whom he does not approve, the relationship becomes strained. When Anbirkiniyala suddenly disappears without a trace nor a clue, the father and boyfriend must help each other to find her, unknowing that Anbirkiniyala must face the ultimate battle herself for her life.
